IRIS invites you to the AP-Waste project presentation on 18th March

IRIS Technology is honoured to participate in AP-Waste, a pioneering project in Spain coordinated by Asaja to value and manage single-use agro-plastic waste (PAs), through the combination of insects and microorganisms.

The waste generated is a major environmental problem and maximum impact on the national horticultural activity. Around 950,000 ha of agricultural land and the rural environment are affected by contamination by agro-plastics out of use and almost half, need immediate intervention.

The AP-Waste project aims to increase the collection and management of PAs by 50% of the rural soils affected by the accumulation of more than 632 kg/ha of PAs, in a period up to 2025. In addition, the project will contribute to guarantee a constant supply of food, feed and biomaterials, will promote a production model with high added value results that compete in better quality conditions, and will demonstrate the proactivity of the sector and the PAs manufacturer industry for the resolution of this serious environmental problem.

Next 18th March, Asaja’s Press Room will hold in Madrid the presentation event of the AP-Waste project. To this reason, you are all invited to join us in this pioneering feat in the country. You only need to register through the following link.
